Nice to have a first and quick impression from the history of the Berlin wall during the cold war. Berlin for dummies.

it's all free to look outside. Look at the photos and read the stories about the wall, planned escapes etc. It's fascinating to see. A MUST VISIT!

I'm fairly interested in political history, and have visited a lot of cold war/communism-museums all throughout Europe. I found this one to be quite boring, text heavy and basic. It contained posters explaining milestones of the cold war (very little of this was new information...More

Loved this little museum, and with a price tag of only €5 per person great value for money. Lots of information on the Cold War and touches upon World War 2. Good films and audio to keep you interested all the way through.

Only visited the outdoor portion of the museum. A section of the wall, photos of the Checkpoint and some informative boards regarding the wall. Worth a peak! The Topography of Terror was much more informative...but this is worth a peek.

The souvenir stands here have the original Checkpoint Charlie and DDR entry and exit visa passport stamps. They ask for a tip to stamp your passport. We gave them €1. It was well worth it. Watch out for the "deaf" people wanting you to sign...More
