Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Location: Tiergarten.
Best period to visit: May till end of September when a concert take place with a guided visit. out of these dates, the tower looks non sense.
Offered to Berlin to celebrate its 750th Birthday, this 42m tall tower, is the fourth largest instrument of its kind in the world. it's made of 68 bells.
Don't miss a manually played concert. The carillonneur sits in the middle of the bells to play his music and at the end of the concert he take you in a tour of the carillon tower where you can enjoy Berlin view from the top.
Automated music plays daily at noon and 6 p.m.

Carillion Tower, or Carillion Turm in the locals language, is something only Berlin connoiseurs shall easily refer to and praise. One-hour sit on the grass in a gorgeous sunny Sunday afternoon, listening to classic and popular music selection researched and played by Jeffrey Bossin, in a huge bells ensemble (the whole set of bells weights more than 8 tons). Every Sunday afternoon, starting at 3:00 PM. Bus line 100 takes you there. You get off bus at the stop Haus der Kulturen der Welt.

I really like organ music when I haму the opportunity to listen to such a concert, and this tower reminds me very much of this type of musical instrument, which can only be heard much further and has its own style of performance.
A small squeeze from Wikipedia:
The Carillon in Berlin Tiergarten park is a tall tower next to the House of World Cultures. It is a large, manually played concert instrument. Someone is siting in a cabin in the middle of the bells and plays with his fists and feet on a baton-and-pedal keyboard. The purely mechanical action makes it possible to play all dynamic gradations, from very soft to very loud sounds. It is one of the largest instruments of its kind in Europe and approximately the fourth largest (by number of bells) in the world. Music programs include classical works and popular songs.

Carillon is a bell tower that is 46 metres tall.
It is actually an instrument with 68 bells.
We did not hear any music at the time of our visit. We went past it on the HOHO bus tour several times and I thought the structure stood out.

This tower is not only lovely to listen to, but also gorgeous. The architectural design might seem dark and gloomy to some, but I think it's beautiful. We arrived a few minutes before noon on a Saturday to listen to the bells chime noon, followed by 4 short musical pieces. The 3rd piece was the best. Highly recommend you swing by here any day of the week at noon for free music in the park.

Towering above the trees in Tiergarten is the fourth largest bell tower in the world. It is a large manually played concert instrument. Erected in 1987, it was in remembrance of the bell towers of the Garrison Church in Potsdam and Berlin's Parochialkirche which were destroyed in WWII. To get a good perspective of its location in Tiergarten, view it from the Reichstag Dome. While driving through the park you can see just how big it really is.

The Carillon is the fourth largest bell tower in the world. It was erected in 1987, as Berlin celebrated it's 750th anniversary. Worth the time to see and the setting is relaxing.

Nice Carillon Tower in the Park. When you are in the area, you are, if you go to the Park and the Parliarment area then you will see it. It is in the area of the Geschichtszeugnis and the John Foster Dulles-Allee so you won't miss it. Take a photos or two and move on. By the way, it is a working Carillon.

Not something I would suggest to make an effort to see but if you are passing by it is worth having a look and if you are lucky, you may hear it chime.

This is a functional bell tower located in the Tiergarten. It will ring at certain times of the day and you can hear it in the park.
I found the structure to be very sophisticated.
