We were recommended this place by a tour guide and it didn't disappoint! The upstairs is a cool/ hipster bar which also serves food (although didn't eat any so can't review). At 8pm we went down into the cellar where a creole band was setting...More

Really cute little bar that serves late making it perfect for that final drink before heading to bed. Staff are lovely and very accommodating. Outdoor seating also available which was nice.

Good selection of beers, hipster style (unfortunately we didn't manage to catch one of the -so called- famous jazz events) BUT the service....very very bad....Too rude for that area, and Berlin in general...

Relaxed with blues, beer and gin&tonic with my boyfriend on our first night in Berlin. Free entry & great venue in the cellar as well as upstairs. Friendly staff with good English. Music was simple & pleasant on the ear. Would return.

Simple. Low key. A but shabby old school. Not fake friendly but very accepting and easy going. We just drank so can't comment on the food. If we lived in the area it would be out local.

Visited here after dark for a few beers. As two females traveling together we felt welcomed, relaxed and at ease. Downstairs was a live music room where people smoked. We stayed upstairs and ate nachos which were cheap and tasty. Cheap, chearful and down to...More

Went to the bar on recommendation and must say it is stereotypical old Europe for me. The bar area is very basic, with couches through the back and downstairs you'll find a table football game and a pinball machine. The beer we had was well...More

Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
