Yes, this is an attractive building with lots of outdoor tables in a garden setting and some pleasant vistas. However having received the worst service we have had during our time in Berlin, we cannot recommend it to other travellers. We generally avoid places which...More

Tucked away but just off Kurfürstendamm this is a cracking cafe/restaurant in a lovely garden setting. Fresh, tasty food. Just be prepared for slightly slow service that didn't detract from the evening.

My wife and I enjoyed a late brunch at one of the outdoor tables at Cafe WIntergarten. We were looking for a restaurant in the neighborhood where my mother lived as a young child, and a Berlin native told us this cafe was one of...More

A remarkable and appealing breakfast spot. If you Iike a garden atmosphere, are literary minded, and want an escape from the intensity of the city, this is the place. Food is good, as is the service. An absolute favorite.

Went during winter, so no outside areas were open, but the inside has plenty of space and a classic interior (best seats at the window). Apparently they take bookings even for breakfast, so book it! Ok coffee + breakfast platter and excellent waffels :) Yum.

I visited this cafe mid-afternoon one weekend with a friend and loved the ambience right away. Outside you have a view of the lovely garden and inside you are in an elegant but unpretentious, warm cafe with character. Unfortunately the service didn't measure up. I...More

Had lunch in this delightful old building today & can honestly say it was delicious. Not just the usual veggie fare, but a scrumptious quinoa and mushroom burger with the best lemon aioli I've tasted. The chai tea was perfect and the Apple strudel perfect.

The Cafe is located in one of the few buildings from the early 1900. Very nice setting, all in style. of course: full of people. We had only a hot chocolate (not bad, not perfect) and a cake (super.) Great service - partly by students...More

We started one of our sightseeing days in this lovely cafe. The weather was a little gloomy but it was bright and cosy inside. If/when we go again I will try to book ahead (although it was a bank holiday the day we went so...More

Had breakfast this morning and it was great. We ate in the front room (call to reserve) a green house ambiance. Photo is breakfast #5, eggs and bacon served on a bed of hash browns, lovely service. Oh, BTW poodles are welcome, not sure about...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

Just checked their German language website which specifically mentions that they serve vegetarian dishes. Hope you have a nice time in Berlin and enjoy both the food and the atmosphere of the Literaturhaus Berlin!
