I was expecting much more from the hotel which pretend to be famous & kind of historical place 4.* + about the advantages are location and perfect breakfast at Bristol cafe with a beautiful view at Kurfürstendamm, U-Bahn station two steps from the entrance, beautiful indoor swimming pool 6:30-22:30, complementary big battle water; good orthopedic mattress, nice new big shower bathrobes & good cosmetic at the bathroom (but view and no hair conditioner)); - but hotel room is very old and are not refreshed not renovated, old cheap furniture scratched thin doors (mine was broken before or booked and it was opened by force and it can be seen) poor bad sound insulation that you can here everything what’s going on especially they gave me the room 402 near lifts and it’s very noisy! And there is S-Bahn line which you can also hear quit good. There is no ramp for vehicles and heavy suitcases, you have to carry it yourself I did checkout 12-15/12-30 none was there on the main entrance to help. By check in on the reception they didn’t have tame & to pay attention to client to tell breakfast-time and where is it. She said “my colleague will take of you” but he didn’t know breakfast or swimming pool time or WiFi connection. And finally 8:20 is nailing house keeping to ask if you are inside they won’t) it’s first hotel who wake me up 8-9 am to ask if it’s ok to clean and I’m the end the system didn’t work by checkout I did it 20 minutes.

The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
How to get there
  • Uhlandstraße • 1 min walk
  • Kurfürstendamm • 4 min walk
