This is a large park with a huge statue of soldier. The whole park was dedicated to the soviet soldiers lost in the WW2. It is located little further from the center therefore it is not crowded at all. It is an amazing monument!!!

We came across Treptower Park by accident after visiting another attraction, a really interesting part of Soviet Union history, slightly unnerving that it still exists! I would have liked some information somewhere to read about the memorial but Google provided me with all I needed...More

Biked through here to see the abandoned funfair - no signs to indicate where we were in the park and as it was much larger than anticipated on the map, got lost a few times (the funfair is at the end of the park). Quite...More

It is a so pretty park, with some statues and rocks telling the history about the war in Berlin. It is nice to keep the history alive.

This memorial covers acres of beautifully landscaped memorials to the casualties of war. It is a sober reminder of how wasteful war is.

The park is beautiful but the huge statue of soviet solder is embarrassing and as long as it exists it reminds that they can come back again. Most countries that were under soviet occupation got rid of these symbols and Germans should do same
