This huge park is dominated by Soviet Memorials and the graves of over 5,000 Red Army soldiers who died in the battle of Berlin. This is a MUST SEE. Located in the former East Berlin.

Out of the way, which means it is quiet - in the AB zone - but near the train station. It is awe inspiring - it is clean and is HUGE!

This is a bit out of the way, but your AB zone day ticket will still work to get you here. Once you get off the train it isn't a far walk to the memorial. It is definitely worth checking out while in Berlin.

Nothing can prepare you for seeing this place in real life - it's quite literally awe inspiring. It's impossible to tell the sheer scale of it from photographs alone. Highly recommended for anybody interested in WW2 history.
