Liquidrom, how cool is this place. A heated salt water floating pool with underwater music, fantastic. If you really want to float away your worries, troubles or unwind after sight seeing, then here is the place to visit. Different saunas to choose from, a small outdoor pool, a steam room a large indoor pool and a smaller one. My wife... More

We went here to on the last night of our city-break to relax and was one of the best decisions we made. The location is accessible with public transport and easy enough to find (entrance is on the side of the building) The floating pool is heaven and relaxing. The music from the pool changes every day so try to... More

A great spa to relax and take yourself away from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. Unwind, nap and chill out on the loungers, detox in the saunas and float in the atmospheric salt pool x

So I went to the liquidrom last night... cool name by the way! Unfortunately it left a sour taste in my mouth afterwards. After living in Berlin for almost 3 years I had to tick this place off my bucket list. I've heard so much about it and it all sounded really cool. From hot baths to saunas, and from... More

My partner and I visited the Liquidrom on a Friday afternoon from 2pm-6pm, and it was pretty awesome. After spending the week sightseeing, this spa was blissful. First impressions: the building is very impressive, but the entrance is actually around the side (on the main road running along the left of the building). The reception is simple and pretty elegant,... More

Arrived at 21.30hrs, inpromptu visit having seen an advert in the Berlin Card booklet which highlighted a discount . No discount was forthcoming as this only applies for day time visits. DIsappointing as there is no mention of this in the booklet. The receptionist was not the most friendly of people and we did feel like we were doing her... More

Excellent spa. Costs €20 for 2 hours but should have stayed for longer as 1.5 hrs the music salt water pool passed in the blink of an eye. very relaxing and unusual experience. We went late at night and the actual building is lit up like a spaceship. Warnings - the saunas and steam rooms are strictly naked, so that... More

Indifferent staff, not much selection of sauna rooms or aufguss sessions. There is another sauna in Berlin that is several stars better than this place. I found Liquidrom to be full of tourist armature sauna goers who didn't follow etiquette, and a staff that was inattentive. I had to remind the counter clerk I paid for a towel. I ended... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
