For €3 it is an excellent opportunity to have a birds eye view of the Tiergarten and surrounding area. There is a very steep climb up a spiral staircase which is not for the faint hearted but the reward on reaching the top is breathtaking!...More

You can go up the tower you access it from across the road which takes you underneath the road, you seem to see this tower from around Berlin.

We rented an Emmy scooter to take to Schloss Charlottenburg, which is another recommendation, but you pass this beautiful column. It is a great shot form the street.

Nice small museum with monuments reproduction but you pay for the view from the top of the column that deserves the 3 euros required. Particulartly rude the lady at the ticket office.

The Victory column has a very interesting history and a good view from the top (Cost 3 Euros). Accessed by a tunnel (subway) under the busy roundabout road around it.

It's a long walk to the top... but definitely worth it. On the ground floor is a nice small exhibition about the different landmarks from history in both Berlin and other places (incl. outside of Germany). Then you can go up a level, or climb...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
