We took a taxi to get there as it is quite far, but we were very disappointed to find it closed - as none of the websites we had consulted earlier, including this one, had mentioned it

The current 1913 exhibiton is overflowing with fantastic prints and energetic drawings and sketches by Kirchner, Heckel and Schmidt-Rottluff. Easier to get to than anticipated and what beautiful surroundings! Also next door to a fantastic sculpture park and exhibtiion space.

If you like art, go to this place. It's in a lovely building, out in the woods, right in the suburbs. Get the U-Bahn to Ferhbelliner Platz, and then the 115 bus from right outside the metro. It's a 5 minute walk from the bus...More

A gem of a niche museum. We own a few pieces of German Expressionist artists who are represented here and so I was anxious to see the collection and was willing to go out of my way. It, and the Kunsthaus Dahlem sculpture gallery next...More

We visited this small but rewarding museum in December 2017 when it was celebrating 50 years of the attractive Gallery. It is quite a journey out but really interesting to see a wealthy suburban area of Berlin. We took the U-Bahn to Dahlem-Dorf and walked....More

デビッドボウイはベルリンの壁で見たカップルと、この美術館で見たオットーミューラーの壁の間で愛し合うカップルの絵からヒーローズの歌詞をひねり出しました。 I can remember standing by the wall. And the gans shot above our heads. And we kiss as though nothing could fall. 路地の壁をベルリンの壁に置き替えると、この一瞬が全てという切迫感につながります。ジャケット写真はヘッケルの絵に影響されていると思います。

When interested in expressionism this visit is a must even when you have to combine public transport to get there. Definitely worth the trip there. We expected much more pieces to be on display and also some documentary files available since they hold the largest...More

The museum is a fair trek from the centre but not too difficult with a little planning. I took the U7 to Fehrbelliner Platz and then caught the 115 bus (direction Neuruppiner, running every 20 mins from outside the U-bahn station) to Pucklestrasse and it's...More

In the Berlin suburbs the Brucke-Museum has a wonderful 50th anniversary collection of expressionist works. Well worth the trip.

Perhaps we were lucky, some have complained that there weren't many paintings on display, but our experience was that the displayed works were superb! They change the display a few times each year so it might be good to check in advance. If you love...More

I don't recall any prints but that doesn't mean that they don't have them. I suspect that the collection is moved around from time to time. It's relatively small - three rooms - but the quality seemed very good to me... More
