Amazingly fast lift, fantastic views, central location, great café and not too crowded. What's not to like?

Great views of the city. The fastest lift in Europe. €7 to fly to the observation platform and restaurant. Enjoy a beverage and cake in the panoramic restaurant. Story boards of the history of Berlin and great photo opportunities

Easy to reach, next to DB building and to the Sony Center. Very fast elevator (took less than 10 seconds to get to the viewing platforms around the building).

I was generally underwhelmed by this excursion. It just doesn't compare with the Fernsehturm except in price. Happily pay it for Fernsehturm, here feels expensive incomparison. On the positive side, there was no queue and the speed of the lift is incredible. But, once on...More

Located in a very central location (Potsdamer Platz) you could mistake this building as an office block. It's much more than that with a very fast lift and excellent views across the city from every direction once you can see past the metal bars. The...More

Nice views. Quick trip and not crowded. Not too expensive either. I would recommend this as a quick look out. There is also a cafe on top if you want to linger.

Visited the Panoramapunkt on a slightly cloudy morning following a thunderstorm but managed to see quite a lot through the summer haze. What was more interesting, though, was some of the information panels about the recent history of Potsdamer Platz, including pictures of it's dramatic...More

The Berlin Welcome card offers a discount or if you have a student ID but still with that, we felt that it was not worth the cost. We had better views at the Berlin Cathedral Dome. There is some history exhibits to read through up...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
