Beautiful art set in a gorgeous old building in one of Berlin's most classy neighborhoods. Beautiful garden outside, so stop and enjoy the plants, maybe have a picnic?

Well worth a visit. Displays of Kollwitzs work through her life from etchings to wood cuts and then a display of her sculptures. Very moving works

Intelligently laid out to show artistic development and context. The small viewing spaces aren't overcrowded so the art has room to breathe. The bronzes on the top floor have huge impact, but nothing beats the simplicity of a monochrome plate etched with loss and guilt....More

I had not come across the work of Kathe Kollwitz before, an artist focusing largely on the poor and the horror of WW1. Well worth a visit

Never have I been so moved by a museum and the art it presents. The soul-baring artwork about death, war and sacrifice, alongside Kollwitz's heartbreaking life story moved me to tears. I highly recommend anyone visiting Berlin to come see this amazing museum.

Great exposition of this leading woman artist of german expressionism. All exhibited items are originals and valuable pieces of art and you can follow milestones in artist's life or in society which inspired and influenced her work.

Within this small four stories house, you will find a beautiful, well curated collection of Kollwitz's humane art. Käthe documented the challenges of life in Germany in the first half of the twentieth century. Her drawings are beautiful and yet haunting at the same time....More
