Visiting the Olympic Stadium was one of the highlights of my trip to Berlin as it is such an incredible building in size and scope. The history that took place in the stadium adds another dimension to the place, so it really is the full package. The tour (in English) was fascinating and while the guide took himself very seriously,... More

This spot is perfect for anyone who wants to combine the history of the 1936 Berlin Olympics with modern day European football. I paid for a guided tour and it was well worth the nominal fee. The guide Michael was excellent. He took us through the stadium and showed us fascinating things, like Hitler's box as well as the modern... More

Classic stadium that is steeped in history. I arrived too late to participate in a tour as such so I paid 7 euros to walk around myself. You get to sit in the stands and take in the impressive stadium. You also get to read about the athletics that have taken place in the stadium over the years. Worth a... More

A stadium has to be experienced in action, so naturally we went to see Hertha Berlin play. Unfortunately the opposing side was Ingolstadt, who is struggling to avoid relegation. Within a month after our visit Hertha faced both Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund at own turf, so naturally we had wished for a better side than Ingolstadt now that Hertha... More

We completed a tour of the stadium and the whole thing was fantastic! Great value for money, very informative and nice to see areas you wouldn't normally! I was very excited for this stadium due to the massive amounts of history behind it. It really is unique and a must visit! Id definitely like to attend a game here if... More

WOW....What a stadium. We booked tickets for the game in the UK and picked them up at the ground on the day. The atmosphere was amazing with both sets of fans all mingling together. The stadium was almost full and the Hertha fans in the Ostkurve were in a league of their own - absolutely the 12th man!!! Well worth... More

It's been a lifelong ambition of mine to visit Germany and experience the Bundesliga first hand. We chose Berlin as our destination and visited the Olympiastadion to watch Hertha Berlin play Bayern Munich. There are various stands selling souvenirs, food and drink outside the ground. The security is incredibly tight when entering the ground but I found this a very... More

The Olympic Stadium, built for the 1936 Olympic Games, is a must-see in Berlin. Jesse Owens wons his four (4!) gold medals here: 100m, 200m, 100 m relay and long jump - much to Adolf Hitler's displeasure.
