This is a must for anyone visiting Berlin! Having done the guided tour the year before, this time we booked the 3 Course Candle lit dinner in the Orangerie, followed by the Vivaldi Four Seasons Violin Concert, and it was well worth paying the extra...More

Its amazing how they restored this palace from 0. It was highly almost totaly damaged during the bombing. They made original replicas based on old samples of artefacts and decor and combined them with the artefacts they kept in depo. Its a huge challenge. And...More

There is no information in the reception explaining the difference between the Old Palace and The New Wing. This is important because each one requires a separate ticket should you wish to see it. The price is quite expensive at 10 euros for a single...More

We found that most of the palace was not in original condition, having been extensively damaged during the war. The restoration work undertaken was to a high standard, taking care to use historical documentation to try and match the restoration to the original look, and...More

I wasn't able to go inside because the palace was closed the week I was there but it was beautiful to see as I walked through Tiergarten. In my opinions, there are many better places to see in Berlin that have a higher historical significance....More

We had a lovely visit with our four-year-old daughter, but it's not worth paying for both parts of the castle at 17 euros. We bought a ticket for 10 euros to the main part of the castle, thought it was okay and then decided to...More

Keep this experience short and you will enjoy. Lovely items displayed. Audio headphones are well done. You’ll learn lots. €3 extra to take photos.

We were there in July and there were no long lines. Combined ticket allows access to four buildings including mausoleum and is definitely worth doing.
