The movie is one of my favorites. Easy to find this bridge, but a little way out from central Berlin. Would suggest combing this with Wannsee Conference House and Cecilienhof Palace (Potsdam Conference). So much to see in Potsdam, it really is a destination along...More

We arrived at the 'Bridge Of Spies' at the perfect time, as a beautiful sunset began. It is possible to get good photos of the bridge during gaps in the traffic, and to walk it from both sides, in the footsteps of FBI/KGB agents in...More

It's hard to believe that such an average looking bridge has such an interesting history. It's in a beautiful location. Be sure to find the marker on the sidewalk that marks where the east and west side were divided.

Historical with quite a story behind it and now a hollywood film. Very good to see and something worth doing if you have time, so much happened here. You can visit and cross the bridge or take a boat underneath it.

My wife is an escapee from East Germany, and the Wall and this bridge have more significance than just a movie about spies. We stood at the center with her cousin who lived on the other side of this bridge for so many years. It...More

The bridge itself may not be desperately exciting to look at but walking to the middle in the footsteps of prominent prisoners and spies being swapped is an experience that may make your heart beat faster or miss a beat. Just try it if you're...More
