You should double check your map and then you will realize that most of these reviews are for someplace else. This canal is pretty scummy and runs through a scummy area. I have not seen any canal tour boats near this.

Lots of tours are available to see Berlin by boat. Very pleasant way to spend a large part of your day. This canal is lovely, lots of trees. Also good for a walk.

We had several walks along this canal. The atmosphere is good and it is a quick get away from the big capital without going too far.

You have to search for it but this is worth to find. It's a hidden location near Alt Treptower Park. In restaurated buildings you will find different restaurant, there is on the canal a boot swim facility, and restaurants on ponton level on the old...More

With was hot in July and we went on this 3hrs tour through many locks on the Spree. Bloody hot if you are not used to the sun. Lots of great sites but I think spring or fall would also make for an interesting visit...More
