When my daughter first said she wanted to visit Templehof my first reaction was "As ex- aircrew I have visited enough airports to last me a lifetime", but we went anyway. The first thing we saw was the memorial to fatalities during the Berlin airlift...More

This park is used by many local residents to visit and exercise. We were on a bicycle tour and were able to ride our bikes down the former runways used to support West Berlin during the Berlin Airlift.

A very interesting English guided tour with Tom. What an enthralling building with so much recent and not-so-recent history. A must-do tour when visiting Berlin and a fascinating history lesson even if you have been resident for sometime. The tour was full of riveting snippets...More

Go here and experience the HUGE building. Bring a picnic if the weather is for it and enjoy the enormous open space and the people riding bikes, roller skates, skateboards and much more. Bring one you self.
