Pretty structure with good photo opportunities! I used the Brandenburg Tor as a useful landmark during my stay in Berlin. It is also a good meeting point for groups. The Tor, as well as the square (plaza) itself, has historical significance and was commissioned a...More

The most noteworthy thing iMO was an exhibit on street which described the square as the place where the Nazi's did their thing ie hold lots of self-congratulatory parades. Otherwise its a good place to rip around on your bike and practise tourist-slalom - and...More

This is the square in front of the Brandenburg Gate, at the end of Unter den Linden. It was named after the French capital. It is a nice space and you can sit and people watch. We went here during the day and also after...More

From exiting Ubahn stop Brandenburger Tor your eyes are met with the most beautiful architecture in Berlin all housed in or near Pariser Platz. This is a big square with the main focal point being the magnificent Brandenburg Gate but there's so much more here...More

Lots of interesting places and nice buildings but not a must see area. The must sees here are the memorials and Brandenburg gate. Worth a walk over if visiting other sites.

Historic square rebuilt after the German reunification. Bordered by the Brandenburg Gate, the new Hotel Adlon, Unter den Linden. It was one of our places of passage during our stay in Berlin. Inevitable.

As it's located in front of Brandenburg Gate and at the very end of famous Unter den Linden Avenue, it's an inevitable sightseeing for every visitor in Berlin. Until 1814 it was called Quarré or Viereck (the Square). But in 1814 the square got the...More

Good looking place where you can spend a lot of time just relaxing or contemplating the surroundings. Brandenburg Gate is right here and the Holocaust memorial a 3 minute walk.

The square on one side of the gate is jammed full of tourists trying to get pictures of the gate with no tourists in them. It is a flat cobblestone area. Nothing else.

Really scenic area for sitting and watching the world go by. Lots of tourists here, so if you want quieter photos go early morning. The buildings in the area are beautiful. There are also small garden areas with tulips.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum

of some significant transformations, as well. The
