This is a great place to spend a rainy day or just to shop, drink and eat. There is an Irish bar downstairs and a very nice Italian restaurant. There is a stand on the ground floor that sells fab icecreams for a very reasonable price. We returned a few times because there was something for everyone.

The Irish Bar is situated on the lower ground floor in the Europa Center, with an assortment of food and drinks. The meals were worth waiting for and the portions of fries for each person was extra large, without even asking for them. Pleasant surroundings in the bar but not with the football match we were watching

Although on the Kurfuerstendamm shopping corridor, this is really an oversized American version of a shopping mall. The shops were not that distinctive, with average to low-grade products. Even the restaurants weren't that great; there were an awful lot of Asian restaurants, and I wouldn't eat at any of them. It might be a good place just to pick up... More

Although I detest shopping while on holiday in don't mind heading to the huge Europa Centre. It's a massive complex with all the usual retail outlets you would expect to find plus lots of fast food restaurants. What sets this apart for me is that I can go to one of the best Irish pub's in Berlin namely Irish Pub... More

The location is great, but there are so many better (and much better looking) stores on Ku'damm that you can easily skip it.

The Europa center has nice stores and an interesting art called "flowing time clock" which is really phenomenal to see. The cafes are née but the best is Tiffany. it has a nice indoor fountain to make the ambient beautiful and relaxing. The center also has a piece of he wall (kept inside a glass) which is another art form... More

It's located at the front of Berlin Zoo, with a nice a unique Fountain out side. In side you can find a very special clock, go to see it.

When you see empty stores you should probably not go in the whole center. Went there anyway. Wondered for 10 minutes. There were actual homeless people inside the shopping center (one of them was suspiciously looking into my shopping bags). Skip it.

There is nothing special about this mall. It would rank higher in my preferences if it had a better decoration. Even though you can find many known stores, the vibe the mall gives is not good. Everything looks quite dark and like no one cares about maintaining a nice space.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
