You will like this street particularly if you are into High Class shopping, high trend boutiques etc. Otherwise, it is just another big street.

Loaded with shops, hotels and restaurants, the long, broad Ku'damm (Kurfurstendam) is one of the most famous streets in Berlin. It is always bustling with tourists and locals and most of the famous designer shops can be found along its route as well as many other more affordable shopping venues. Interesting even if you are not into shopping. The remains... More

One of the main shopping streets in Berlin with all the main names you would expect. Throw in a few bars, restaurants and souvenir shops and you've got it all.

All the main shops you would expect to find on an European high street add a few good bars and restaurants too. A couple of museums available too if that's what you fancy

Broad road, lots of shops. That's Ku-Damm. There are some major points of interests, like Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche and KaDeWe, but don't lose to much time here - Berlin got way more than this.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
