The whole street is very impressive. Officially it runs from the City Palace to the Brandenburg Gate but you could argue that it actually runs from Alexander Platz to the Tiergarten. Heading towards the Brandenburg you first pass some great architecture of buildings originally build...More

One of the most well known streets of Berlin. It has a lot on it Brandenburg Gate, Humboldt University, Berlin Cathedral, the Russian Embassy, the British Embassy (on a side street from Adlon hotel), etc. So you will be on it if you visit Berlin....More

There is major construction going on that obscures most everything. The street has extremely congested traffic due to lane reductions. Skip it for a few yeats.

Look if you accidentally come across this place then it’s worth while recognising it for what it is .. a historic boulevard .. but it’s not somewhere you should be going out of your way to!

Very impressive long street which stretches from Brandenburg Gate to The TV Tower with some very beautiful buildings along the way. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops along the street too.

The wide boulevard connects the famous Brandenburg gate to the city and is home to many historic and important buildings including the Berlin Cathedral, several museums and embassies. The wide boulevard makes for a relaxing walk and offers many shopping and dining opportunities.

Berlin's most historic street, but marred at present by the construction of an extension to the U5 underground line! We walked from Brandenburg Gate past the Adlon Hotel to Bebelplatz and on to the Dom. The street is very wide, although we expected it to...More

Long-considered the posh central avenue of Berlin. Indeed some of the classy old hotels are here as well as noble government buildings. But there is a lot of construction going on, and it turns out to be less interesting than many other major streets in...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
