The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.

Amazing place with very nice people and a great selection of movies. One of my favorite 'OmU' cinemas in Berlin. There's also a pub at the same place.

Kino Intimes is a very cool looking building located in the vibrant Friedrichshain district of Berlin.
An evocative looking building, it looks old and cosy ,great decor and furnishings, lots of interesting features abound throughout this building, theres also a very busy and popular restaurant and bar attached,we enjoyed a bottle each of Astra beer ,sitting outside this building was cool ,enjoying an iced cold beer and soaking up the sun was cool.
Kino Intimes is easy to locate and Boxhagener Straße, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some pretty eclectic architecture.
Well worth checking out if your in the Friedrichshain district.

Kino Intimes was a cool bar we visited as we were wandering around this part of town and what a great find.
A cool looking bar with a really nice interior, exposed brickwork, fantastic looking serving bar, nice decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this bar, it's attached to a vintage cinema established in 1909 and it's popular,on our visit this bar was absolutely rammed.
We were here on a roasting hot Friday afternoon, with temperatures hitting the 37 degree mark we were in need of a beer, all the outside seating was occupied but we got a table inside were after a quick study of the beers on offer I opted to have Lübzer beer while my brother went for Astra beer ,these were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in and the stunning location.
My beer was outstandingly tasty, a light ,hoppy, well balanced beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink indeed and a beer style I really enjoyed, my brother also gave the thumbs up to his beer.
To say this bar is popular would be an understatement, there's a lot of pubs, bars and restaurants in this part of town but we never saw a bar this full but with beers this good hardly surprising really.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great bar.
Kino Intimes is really easy to locate on Boxhagener Straße.
A great bar and well worth checking out.
