Small square commemorating great men

Schinkelplatz is a small square close the Berlin domer honoring three great german men.

In the 1860s monuments for Albrecht Daniel Thaer , Christian Peter Wilhelm Beuth and Karl Friedrich Schinkel were erected honoring these three men .

Three Monuments on the Square

Sept 2019

Schinkelplatz is a public square, actually more of a triangle. The square is named after Karl Friedrich Schinkel, whose statue also adorns the square along with monuments to Peter Beuth and Albrecht Thaer. Currently the square is undergoing renovation, although I don't think there's normally much on the square anyway,

It's a few minutes walk from Schloss Bridge, so it's no big deal to walk from the tourist circuit to see three monuments. The square also has a simple fountain and some interesting repeating geometric mosaics, but I wouldn't go out of the way to see it.

This is a nice small historical square named after a Prussian architect.It is in the Mitte district. The place is surrounded by historical buildings and statues.

However at the time of our visit, there was a lot of construction going on, meaning we had to cross the road several times.

Small square close to the river

Nice place in the middle of highscrypers with trees and shade. There are lot of buildings under construction so the place is very noisy.
