Like so many market squares in Germany and throughout Europe, this square was bustling with activity. The ornate, picturesque buildings surrounding the square are beautiful and well worth a stop when visiting Wurzburg.

Like all squares it is a meeting place for many surrounded by beautiful buildings. Sometimes there will be something going on to add further interest.

I stayed in Wurzburg for three weeks (still here) and love the city. So many beautiful things to see and do and tons of shopping as well!

Its a lovely place for family and friends gathering. Lots of bars and food stalls. We enjoyed few glasses of locally produced Silvaner wine

This is a great time to visit Wurzburg with the Wine Fest and Mozart Festival on, great atmosphere in the wine village and always worth a visit.
