This is a yellow colored house next to the St Mary chapel. The tourist information center is located in this building. The exterior of the house is very attractive due to the carvings and the color. A great place to take picture with Marktplatz and...More

Next to the Chapel of the St. Mary you will find the Falcon house. Its Rococo stucco-work facade was added in 1751. Today you will find the tourist office inside the mansion.

Since 1629 it was a hotel, now the tourist office and the city library is in the house. You can admire already from far the yellow painted building, with all the white stuccos.

A nice facade but impossible to view because of the ugly market stalls set up right in front of it. The market is not only an eyesore but very noisy, and beware of pickpockets in the area.

While strolling in the old town I came across the three-storey tall lightly beige façade of Falkenhaus' (Falcon House) Baroque architecture, promising a photogenic opportunity against the clear blue skies. It was hailed as having one of the most beautiful Rococo façades in south Germany,...More
