Pretty cool to go up the stairs and see the whole town from up. We walked around a little but it's possible to walk around the whole town

Another tower gate that is part of the wall walk around Rothenburg. As many as there were they were all different and presented plenty of photo opportunities.

Walking the wall is a must. You can image what it must have been like in mideval days. The town had a wall built around it. Very tiny walkway but very interesting.

stairs but worth the climb as gives you great views of the surrounding areas. If you look carefully there are plaques in the walls commemorating a loved one for a price of course. The floors are uneven so and head hieight low in some places . felt like you we back in the medieval times . When done Drop down then walk through the rest of the town. have to say absolutely loved Rothernburg

This is a great way of walking around the medieval town, the towers are really amazing and definitely worth seeing. The views from the wall walk are brilliant and its easy to imagine being there infers gone by.

This Gate and tower are extra ordinary in Rothenburg, they differ from others, as here they are part of the fortified church St. Wolfgang's, making church outside fortified, inside spiritual. This combination gives to Klingentor unique and different construction and look. Looking from different directions (in/out) you can't believe that it is same place. It is located north side of the city and less visited than rest of the gates.

We did not do the Tower but we walked the wall and it was awesome. Steps are steep and if you are over 6' you need to watch your head. The walk is uneven, ancient, but if you're in the city, it is a must! Also, being here during off-season, we were all alone on the wall - neat!

The steps are steep and narrow but the end result is a fantastic view of this ancient and historic city.
