We came during July and unfortunately hit the one week that it rained all but one of our 5 days. We managed one nice day and walked through the old town and explored all the neat little shops and tried 5 restaurants (during our stay)...More

Like most people, I used Fussen as the base to visit the nearby Castles, but having arrived about midday, I spent the afternoon walking the city and appreciating Fussen in it's own right; a welcoming and delightful town.

The town is nice in it self,,but very touristig,,,so hereyou can be overrun with tourist. But soe nice places for to eat/coffe and a beer. But also many places that have siesta time and less times open.

Very nice Place. And they is a small market in saterday. A lot of restoration and bakery. We been here 2 hours including lunch.

Given where Fussen is, it is no surprise it can be overrun with tourists. You have outdoors stuff, the Alps, lakes, plus the castles and so on. Good food, nice people... ...and of course, tourist junk shops, zero parking, and a rush hour (between Horn...More

Many restaurants, bars and ice-cream parlours...Fussen is a charming old historic town worth the visit if in the area. Neuschwanstein is nearby.
