As a swede, I am a big fan of Brecht, who lived in Stockholm for a year after leaving Germany due to the nazi machtübernahme 1933. Unfortunately my german is almost nonexisting, and all the information was in german. Its a pity that a museum...More

This small museum offers everything you would expect of Brecht and his life. The author of so many great plays is shown in his familiar surrounding, you learn about "Dreigroschenoper" and Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder. He was the one who created the modern theatre....More

still, if you are into the bio and the background as well as the writing, old Bertholdt's place is up your and his cobbled alley. However, for me, 'Mother Courage & Her Children ' this is not.

This is where Bertolt Brecht hte great German writer was born. There is a small museum with some original manuscipts, the original room and some videos.
