The Golden Hall is something to behold. A beautifully done large hall; breath-taking in size and detail. Augsburg has a very rich history - particularly as it pertains to the Protestant history. This hall was witness to many important events.

A small fee gains entrance to a stunningly beautiful Town Hall, with kilograms of gold in the ceiling and walls. Not what you might expect of a public service building, but worth the small fee to take a look.

Open from 10:00 to 18:00 hours for visitors in the middle of the city. . The decorated ceilings are definetely worth seing.
