You already know that Regensburg is a charming city. This museum is right at the base of the 1100 year old bridge. They rent an audio box for 1 Euro and there is a lot to learn about this city.

A great place to get a better understanding of this regions history and its significance. Finding a free restroom can be a challenge but these are free to the public and clean.

Although the museum exhibits are mostly in German, including the interactive slide show history lesson, I felt my time was well spent here, perhaps 45 minutes. Even the girl attending the desk seemed to have somewhat limited English capability. There is an audio guide available,...More

I've been twice and it was okay. One time there was some kind of art show going on, and I though that was pretty cool. I love history so reading about the different time periods was fun.

A little history but most of the information (all?) is in German so without a guide, you are just looking at diagrams, pictures and ambiance.

This is a good place to visit on a rainy day to get a history lesson. Sometimes it is crowded with visitors and student groups.

My tour was great too bad I don't know German. Worth the sites. Took up some of the time I had to eat up waiting for my shuttle back to Munich.
