It‘s a reason for a little detour although still in the Old City of Regensburg... It‘s covered with a „greenhouse“, sometimes there are even concerts!

The outside portal is beautiful but opening the heavy doors and going inside felt like time travel. The interior has a very ancient feeling and was a unique opportunity to see and feel the religious world of the1200’s.

As the oldest church in Regensburg, this is one I really enjoyed. A very good idea protecting portals by glass, although photographers might find it annoying to get their perfect shot. This is one church worth visiting and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

A bit out of the way, so not very crowded. Worth a quick visit while in Regensburg. There is not much information available there, so probably worth researching a bit in advance.

The entrance is unusual, and worth a visit. The church it opens up into is also a nice place to see. Very serene.
