A comfortable walk into town through an old gate that is truly gorgeous. Many photo opportunities for the photographer and plenty of cafes and restaurants to meet your dining needs.

Great to watch the river traffic and the museum boats on the Quay. Pity its still in scaffolding but should eventually get back to its best.

We went there. It’s a nice old bridge but they are doing maintenance work. Therefore you will see scaffolding’s everywhere. Tipp: follow the waterside until the steel-bridge. Up there it is possible to take amazing pictures.

The bridge is currently under renovation, and some of the statues have been removed for the process. We walked across it for some great shots of the town, and we stopped in the island for a picnic.

This is the oldest Roman bridge in Europe, in an idealist place, so beautiful indeed. Definitely the best spot in the old town. A must stop.

Yes, the Old Stone Bridge is still under construction. It is a long project yet still not done. It will be the same in July when you come through.
