I first visited Nuremberg (several times) when I lived in Frankfurt back in the 1990s, but had never manged to make it to the rally grounds. So when I was planning a trip to Germany this year, this was at the top of my list of unfinished business. getting there was a lt easier than I had thought - either... More

I MUST visit this place during my stay here at Nuremberg. The feelings were the same like 10 years ago. gloomy atmosphere, there's a feeling a lot of negative energy, but it is part of history. But incredible structure. You must see it and feel it.

The Nazi Rally Grounds is definitely worth a visit if you're in Nuremberg. You will get to learn about the history of the place, and its role in the formation of the Nazi party as well as their construction plans for the site, which were never completed. The exhibition inside has detailed history with videos and an audio guide with... More

It is quite a surreal sensation to stand where Hitler stood and look over the gigantic and imagine what it must have been like. It is something that shall last in my memory forever.

The thing about this place is how big it really is. Seeing it on TV doesn't prepare you for the size. The rally ground has a bunch of construction equipment on it so its a bit messy. The colloseum building is enormous and in great condition on the outside but if you go in through the motorcade gate to get... More

Take the S-Bahn 2 train from the central station it takes about 15 minutes to Frankenstation Allow plenty of time. It's a big complex and a nice park to walk around I only had an hour and could just walk around the Zeppelin field. It's very worn and the preserve it to the best they can. The parade grounds are... The most interesting building there is the congress hall. The place is a bit weird. A bit like ruins of colosseum but larger. The building was finished outside but never finished inside. And is massive - it was designed for 50 thousand people. Outside finished, and used (by museum, philharmony etc) Inside it looks a bit abandoned. There are some... More

Fascinating to actually stand where Hitler once delivered his rallies. I found it best to look at old pictures of the rallies from the 1930 s to see how it was used and then compare to how it is today. Very surreal to imagine what went on here not so many years ago.

A definitely impressive massive building and plans from the Nazi regime. Take the whole tour with audio guide and plan in 3 hours to learn about history and specifically more about Nuremberg in the plans of the Hitler times.
