Very near to grand market. One of the most notable features of the church is the Männleinlaufen, a mechanical clock.
Beautiful large church Located right by the old town where the hauptmarkt is located. Each day at noon the clock displays a procession of electors paying homage to the Emperor. I love visiting churches because they usually have so much history to tell. Seeing the photos from 1945 it's impressive how they have managed to reconstruct the church whilst saving the fragments remaining after the bombings.
We were lucky enough to be touring and ended mere moments before noon and were able to watch the clock in action. It actually starts a few minutes after noon when we saw it as the bells range for a good while before the trumpets and the drummers started. Definitely worth a stroll around and watch the display.
IN Germany is many fancy cathedral. This is the next example. When you are in centum of old city worth to go there and see it from inside.
