Pretty church

Even on a rainy day, and being overshadowed by the market on Rosh Hashanah, her prettiness can be seen.

Located in the old town on the Old Town Market Square. The square has many old building around it and one is the Frauenkirche with is impressive clock. At 12 noon the clock chimes and the seven electors pay homage to the Emperor. There is a lot of movement of the characters so you have to watch carefully to see... More

Very near to grand market. One of the most notable features of the church is the Männleinlaufen, a mechanical clock.

Beautiful large church Located right by the old town where the hauptmarkt is located. Each day at noon the clock displays a procession of electors paying homage to the Emperor. So much to do in this general area that you might want to add this attraction to your list in the area. I am about churched out right now but... More

I love visiting churches because they usually have so much history to tell. Seeing the photos from 1945 it's impressive how they have managed to reconstruct the church whilst saving the fragments remaining after the bombings.

We were lucky enough to be touring and ended mere moments before noon and were able to watch the clock in action. It actually starts a few minutes after noon when we saw it as the bells range for a good while before the trumpets and the drummers started. Definitely worth a stroll around and watch the display.

We walked past the Frauenkirche, the church of our lady, and admired its beautiful glittering gold clock.

Like many churches in Europe it's much nicer from the outside than the inside. It is what it looks like and very easy to see walking around the old town.

The first church in Germany that I've experienced. I'm impressed by the harmony which the German play. I love the way they bring music to church, the spirit.

IN Germany is many fancy cathedral. This is the next example. When you are in centum of old city worth to go there and see it from inside.
