Whole story of the world war II from nuremberg perspective

Nice and interesting museum! Chronological explanation how Hitler could get the german nation to do terrible things. A lot of multimedia. Cool building!

I studied history, with a focus on Germany in the 1930s and 1940s and have seen many exhibits - this is one of the best. Using Nuremberg as a focus it explains how Hitler and the Nazi party came to power and gained such popularity, then goes on to explain how the war started, its effects and the aftermath. All... The museum itself is very cool but living in Germany I believe I've seen this many times... documentation is well presented, the audio guide is included in the cheap price, it is not far from Nuremberg city center. But what I really liked was to step into the colosseum the nazis build which is not included in the trip but... More

Place is easy to reach with tram 9 from train station. Inside there are a lot of pictures and some items from time when Nurnberg was THE PLACE in Nazi Party rallies. You have history and impact of pictures is relevant. Very good audioguide included in the price. You can spend 2 hours there. Worth the time.

This is a bit of a distance from Nuremberg centre so you'll probably need to get here with the tram or bus - I took Bus #36 which drops you at the entrance to the visitor center. The exhibition inside has detailed history with videos and an audio guide with everything you need to know; my only criticism is that... More

Powerful museum. So concerned about what is going on in US I really wanted to understand how the rise of Nazism happened. Powerful and enlightening.

If you're interested in the history, then you need to do this. Allow 2 hours at least. Headphones are available and free. The entry price is cheap. Coffee shop on sight.

Easy to get to by taking the number 9 tram which goes directly there from the hauptbahnhoff. The museum explains without pulling any punches how the Nazis rose to power and the part that Nuremberg played. The audio guide explains the exhibits (although there are a few where there isn't an English audio explanation) and there is some repetition. I... More

Nazi history museum is very detailed and in-depth perspective of before, durring, and after war. Overall was an eye opening experience to know how lucky my great grand parents were to escape from Germany to the USA!

The number 9 tram from Hauptbahnhof gets you there in around 15 minutes. It was fairly quiet on a weekday (a school group were just leaving!). The building is an impressive design and the museum is well laid out. The entrance fee is reasonable and there are lockers for leaving your coats and bags which was a good idea in... More
