About
The FC Bayern Museum provides an emotional journey through time from the founding of the German record champions in 1900 to the current triumphant era. On over 3,000 square metres excitement is guaranteed in discovering or rediscovering the most moving and significant moments in the club’s history. In contrast to a traditional (football) museum, the interactive installation comprises much more than outstanding exhibits such as trophies, and boots and shirts worn by the Bayern stars. Highlights of the exhibition include the recently won trophies, the Hall of Fame featuring the greatest FC Bayern players of all time, the current squad as life-size stand-up figurines and an exclusive film. The prime motivation is to convey the values and traditions of the club to young and old alike.

We have a budding 13 yr old football fan on our hands so Allianz Arena was a must see! Wouldn't have been the same without the full tour experience so I highly recommend that. They have family price tickets too.

Easy parking when it's not a match day and only cost 5 euro. Inside we grabbed some quick food of wiener and fries (pricey and they were only taking cash when we went) and waited for our tour to start. It was on time and we thoroughly enjoyed it (even though my mom and I are not uber football fans like my brother is). Saw the arena and learned about how many tickets are sold and where people sit/stand to watch the game including away fans. Experienced the huge echo in the stadium and imagined it full. Saw the dressing areas for both sides, the press conference room, the hatch where the team comes out, etc. Can go to the museum before or after. Lots of trophies and some kid interactive areas as well. At the end of the museum is the FC Bayern store.

The museum is fantastic with plenty of trophies, pictures, information and interactive touch screens as well. From the German Championship to the European Cup, from the start of the club to the modern day it's all there for you to see. All the highs from the club. A must see from all done hard fans.

The museum displays a lot of trophies and the story of the male team.
There is no representation of the womens team.
Nice play area for kids and the stadium tour is interesting, but book well in advance.

The shop has every item you can think of FCB branded. Again they ignore the women. I.e. we bought a player jersey for my daughter, but because kids model is similar to men's you cannot get female player printed onto it!!?! We had to order custom print instead ("Harder").

Theres a 5-10 minute walt from ubahn to the museum.

Great walk through the history of a great football club. Loads of trophies to see unsurprisingly. Including the three won this season. Excellent 90 minutes well spent. Even my wife and two daughters who don’t like football enjoyed it. Stadium is also of course magnificent.

Really an awesome place to bring kids. Just do the stadium tour on your own but visit the museum. They have a kids play area, lego area. Also, its rich in its football history with a great coverage. Very informative and well presented. If you are in Munich, do make a trip down. Its near Frottmaning Station.

FC Bayern Erlebniswelt

Visit Duration: 30-45 minutes.
Note that this museum is smaller than the famous spanish football club museums.

Located at the heart of the Allianz Arena, this is the biggest club museum in Germany. The museum highlights 112-year history of Bayern Munich starting with the club’s foundation in 1900 and ending with its latest triumphs.

what to expect:
1- Incredible items are on display:
the many cups and trophies that have been won over the years, shoes and kits worn by Bayern stars of past and present.

2- In the Hall of Fame  meet the 16 most popular and most successful Bayern Munich players: Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller, Lothar Mathäus and Oliver Kahn... .

3- In the games zone test your ball skills, your goalkeeping reflexes and your knowledge of Bayern Munich.

4- At the "Hörbar", you can listen to the many songs connected to Bayern Munich.

5- The final section focuses on the current team with life-size versions of the players.

Visited the FC Bayern club museum prior to taking the Allianz Arena tour. The museum as a very impressive display of various championship trophies, cups, and shields. There is also a huge FC Bayern store adjacent to the museum with everything FC Bayern that you can think of. It was a rainy day in Munich so this was a nice inside visit/sightseeing - it is about 15-20 minute subway ride to the arena and museum.

Myself and my football obsessed son did the alliance tour and the museum. We arrived early and so had something to eat in the restaurant, this was quite expensive with a small bottle of water being almost 4euro! However, everything else was amazing. The tour was informative and we were given lots of opportunities to take photos. Our guide was very friendly and welcomed questions. The museum was very interesting and we spent a long time in it. Then we went to the shop, it was Black Friday and they had 20% discount, so we bought quite a lot, again the staff were very friendly and helpful.

As a soccer player and FC Bayern fan, I was blown away by the Allianz Arena tour and FC Bayern Erlebniswelt. You get to see the dressing rooms, stands, etc. The museum part is fascinating. The team had a rich history and this museum captures it perfectly. It’s a bit far from the city centre but doable on the train. The shop has everything you could ask for in terms of fan items. A must do!
