Very popular scenic park, more internaitonal than its name would suggest, it contains a Greek temple, Chinese pagoda and Japanese tea house.

A quick Taxi journey from Marienplatz, we visited the Christmas market in the English Gardens. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Munich. Spent a lovely few hours at the market and then walked through the gardens to nearby restaurants. Lovely experience

We stopped off here on a tour of Munich. There was a Christmas market going on in & around the garden which is dominated by a Chinese Pagoda. The market was selling lovely foods & decorations. It was also very sunny.

It’s so beautiful here and there’s a fabulous Christmas market at the Chinese tower. It’s even gorgeous in winter to just stroll or bike through the oark

We walked through a stretch of the gardens on our way from the Olympic Park to the Marienplatz. It is lovely, but I suspect better in the spring/summer. We did see the most amazing thing though, surfers, yes surfers on the canal at the far...More

We headed for the Chinese tower which in December holds a Christmas market, it's not as busy as Munich centre but has plenty of stalls and if you fancy you can hop on to a horse and cart for a nice stroll around the park.

We went here for the Christmas market, which was as good as, and not as crowded as, the markets in town. It's a huge space and perfect for a walk. Make sure to check out the surfers at the town end of the park!

Always love to visit the English Garden in Munich. It is large and perfect for a stroll or, in the summer, to hang out in the sun or swim in the ice river (Eisbach). Also, the Chinesischer Turm beergarden is in the English garden, which...More

Blissful peace and tranquility in the heart of the Munich. Wonderful on a cold winter’s day with snow around.

the Giselastrabe and or Universitatis stations are close to the garden. Again it depends where in the garden you want to visit. Probably half hour walk from your station.
