Like New York Central Park !! Paths meander throughout but could have used some signs indicating Chinese Tower and other sites.

After hours of trekking through the city, we were able to sit down and enjoy a beer and pretzels at the lovely Beer garden by the Chinese tower at the English garden. We saw many beautiful ducks, some with their newly hatched ducklings. We saw...More

Walking through Munich this brings you into a good mood with all the water in the park. Eat a snack, drink a beer, get around in a Rikscha if you want, or just have a pick-nick on the grass. Whatever it's nice

Make sure to visit the place and enjoy a beer. Lots of Places where you can enjoy and remember to carry cash. Cards are only accepted above 20 EUR. Plenty of private parking facilities available.

Stunning summer weather brought us an many others out for some sun and food. Great spot. Very clean and well maintained lawns. Restuarant is geared for crowds and food was good. Nice touch was a band playing.

Lovely park to meader through away from the bustle of the city either during the day or in the evening. Park is well used making it feel particularly safe to walk around in.

Go here and listen to the bands playing traditional music in the Chinese Pavilion, sit in one of the best beer gardens in Bavaria, and then watch the surfers in the river. Extraordinary!

The park itself is huge and beautiful. What we could not understand was the small range of places to sit and eat. The food under the Chinese tower is fairly disgusting. However, that does not say anything about the amazing park itself.
