Very popular scenic park, more internaitonal than its name would suggest, it contains a Greek temple, Chinese pagoda and Japanese tea house.

We cycled in beautiful weather round here. The trees are stunning. The beer garden is fun, although on the expensive side.

One of the largest city parks in Europe. There are beer gardens and various events through the summer. Due to its size, best explored on bike.

We did a bike tour of the gardens, was a beautiful afternoon to escape from the madness of the Oktoberfest grounds. If the sun is shining, grab a bike so you can see of much as possible. Well taken care of and huge!

Englischer Garten is a really nice, agreable place. It's very beautiful and suitable for everyone. There's a point where some locals surf on the river, really interesting!

I would highly suggest taking a stroll through the park if you're in the area. Very serene and beautiful place. Make sure to stop and see the surfers in the canal! There is also a beer garden/restaurant in the center at the Chinese tower.

the Giselastrabe and or Universitatis stations are close to the garden. Again it depends where in the garden you want to visit. Probably half hour walk from your station.
