Very popular scenic park, more internaitonal than its name would suggest, it contains a Greek temple, Chinese pagoda and Japanese tea house.

Located in the heart of the city this is an oasis to escape the hustle and craziness of the city. Green opened spaces, trees, river and peace. Perfect.

One of the most beautiful places that I visited. It is a man made garden but looks quit natural. I enjoy spending time and doing sport there.

One of the best and biggest parks I’ve been to. A raging river that runs right through the park adds to its charm.

A must do place to visit when in Munich. Very chilled out whether it's walking cycling or even surfing on the river. Go to the Chinese tower for Curried wurst, beer and pretzel. All good and relaxed vibe.

Unexpected sunny days - in the middle of October!- brought out hordes of sunbathing people. Be aware - many choose "to bath" in their absolute altogether :)

Stunning park with tons of green space, streams, benches and a beer garden. Frequent saw locals bring beer and a blanket to hang out with friends.

One of the great public gardens of the world. Walk through the lush natural growth, sunbake nude (if that's your thing), wine and dine at the Chinese Garden (German food not Chinese) or bring a bike and cycle at breakneck speeds through crowds of pedestrians....More

There are no public places that we saw, but the larger beer gardens / restaurants around the lake may have such facilities.

Munich is only a few places in Germany that nude sun bathing is legal. However the areas that the law applies only limited to a few designated points.
