An absolute gem of a church right in the city centre. It is so beautiful to walk around with some fantastic stained glass windows.

This is a large church and I understand you can go up the turrets to view the city - I did not. The church's main aesthetic interest to me was the tomb in the rear of the church of emperor Ludwig IV of Bavaria. They...More

The church is very beautiful on the otside and it's architecture most impressive, but not the same on the inside. It's close to the city center, so go for a quick look.

Almost from all angles in the city centre can you see the twin towers of the Frauen Kirche. Interestingly set surrounded by buildings with only a small square on one side an hidden from the main shopping street between Marienplatz and Karlstor (Stachus). Beautiful high...More

In Munich there are many churches, all are beautiful in different ways. All churches are must sees I believe, most are awe inspiring .

the outside has scafolding all around. There is a fence surrounding the ground around the church so you really cannot see much at all. Quite disappointing.

Interesting architecture from the outside: it is one of the tallest buildings in Munich (it was built before the height regulations came in). If you're looking for a Cathedral similar to what you would find in Rome or Southern Spain, then you will be disappointed....More

This very impressive but sombre cathedral is the landmark of Muncih. If you get lost in the old town, just look up and you will see the twin domes and find your way back! The interior is very plain but a massive space.

Don't know the answer to this. St. Peter is a good idea if you had a good preparation like a lunch or breakfast. I personally did not like the very narrow balcony, It is quite a challenge to pass between two people. But the... More
