Very nice to walk around!

Would consider a "must" as a tourist to walk around and have a beer with friends. Really liked to visit this city.

Lovely place, buildings are beautiful and well worth a visit. Lots of different shops around, Christmas market is amazing. Lots of stalls with handmade items & glüwein is delicious, it's great to keep the cups/glasses too (or take back to stall & get deposit back) decorations are amazing & there was a lovely atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back.

Great place from which to start sightseeing with the old and new rathauses nearby as well as Peterkirche. Full of tourists when we visited.

Enjoyed window shopping and many very Christmas decoration shops due to the season. Christmas market is good, but Nuremberg one is a bit bigger and better. Enjoyed street performance a lot.

The German Christmas Markets are always great to visit. They really get you in the mood before Christmas and the market in the marienplatz is no exception. The atmosphere is wonderful with food and gifts to delight.

Me and my wife had a 4 days holiday in Munich. Our goal was to visit the xmas markets. There are so many things to tell and look...maybe the best way to explain feelings is to take a look at my photos! Anyway Munich is really beautiful!

We enjoyed the beauty of the old buildings and the Christmas market. I think it's one of those places you should visit since you're in Munich. But if looking for authentic experience then it is a little too touristy. A lot of shopping and food though including nearby viktualienmarkt

The atmosphere is this square is so energetic and the views of the sites all around is stunning. I'll never forget coming up from the subway and seeing this place for the very first time! Beautiful!
