I was on that tour referred to below where Jeff, the tour guide, was in fact victimized while getting on the train for the return trip to Munich. He was violently thrown from the train by an assailant who I guess just couldn't wait to get off and thought it easier to push Jeff off the train backwards. He was... More

We were scheduled to do the Neuschwanstein castle on a Wed. I have booked this one months ahead and didn't made any reservations or hotel inspections appointments on this day as I was anticipating this activity for our Australian market. I was at the agreed meeting point 30 mins beforehand. Unfortunately, the person in charge showed up and said that... More

I was hesitant to book a tour to Neuschwantsein Castle because I read how to get there on my own, but I'm glad I did. Jeff was an excellent guide to the small group of seven. He handled purchasing the train tickets, getting us on the transfer bus and purchasing tickets inside the castles if we wanted (It's extremely busy... More

I am a little surprised by all the reviews given here. Jeff was one the best guides we have ever had and the tour was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He was very helpful and available all throughout the trip. Even though we had bad weather during the trip, he made it a great experience.... More

As instructed, I arrived at the train station at 0905 for the 0915 meet-up. By 0930, I called the phone number on the ticket voucher. The phone number does not exist!! I emailed Jeff and finally gave up, returning to the hotel. The concierge, as well, called the number, and he also heard the recording that the number does not... More

I wanted to take this tour because it also visited the boyhood home of Mad King Ludwig and also Neueschaunstein. Great experience! Jeff the guide knew all the answers to all our questions and was great and leading us around the "back way" to the sights. Very nice guy and they dont overbook their tours (max 14 but we only... I really hate to give these people a poor review, they are young people trying to make a go of a business something I normally would support 100% - BUT. I booked and paid for a tour of Neuschwanstein 3 months upfront. On the day we arrived at the station in good time and the guides arrived at the correct... More

First off, I can't comment on the tour itself which by previous reviews sounds like it would have been good. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the group at the meeting point and was therefore unable to go on the tour. I was at the meeting point 15 minutes early and at no time could I see a sign or... We were fortunate enough to be shown around the castles by our kind and knowledgeable guide, Jeff. He certainly knew his stuff and was more than happy to go above and beyond for his group (which, on the day turned out to be just us!) A great small business run by the man himself and the tour was certainly one... More

We visited Munchen in summer of 2011 and we stayed for a week. Best day we had during that week was the day we took the tour to Neuschwanstein. Jeff was the best guide you can have, gave a lot of historical information about the castle but we didnt get bored at any point of the trip. Size of the... More
