Visiting Neuschwanstein had been a desire of mine since childhood. (Most people site it as the inspiration for Cinderella's palace, but for me it's the castle from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.) Whatever your perspective, this Grey Line trip is the way to go. Neuschwanstein, which...More

We booked this online and had no idea what to expect! We met at the Central Station and that was the only thing that I felt was not great as there was some confusion at to our meeting point! Anyway once we met other people...More

Clean modern, and comfortable buses. Tour guide was excellent giving interesting, fact filled comments about the (beautiful) towns and country side, the castles, and "mad" King Ludwig. Excellent tour.

We set out in a full double decker coach with Hawnie as our guide. Our first stop was the summer castle of Ludwig II, Linderhof. Our guide prepared us well for the tour with an extensive review of the history of the region, castle and...More

The coach was great with snacks and hot beverages available throughout, as well as beer and wine and soda, bathroom onboard clean. The tours of the castles were good, however, be prepared that there is no photography allowed inside of Neuschwannstein or Linderhof. This came...More

I chose this to be both an introduction to the main sights of the city and a good way to rest my tired feet after 14 days of traveling. I took the grand tour which I highly recommend as it added stops at the BMW...More

Tour guide was great and informative. Transportation was comfortable. Beautiful views. We went on a Saturday so it was very crowded and we didn't get a chance to go up to the bridge. If you book this tour, avoid a weekend day

Beautiful for sure buts it’s no picnic getting to this castle. Forty minute walk then up 300 steps. Allow plenty of time for your visit.

Lucy was a wonderful guide. We appreciated her knowledge but also her humor. She kept everyone moving timely and we were able to see everything and enjoy the day without hassle.

This is a don’t miss kind of sight. The drive there is worth it in itself. The Bavarian countryside is beautiful. The castles are so wonderful that you would think they are not even real. It gets very crowded but once you are at the...More

I got the Lufthansa bus at the back of the main station to the airport. It runs about 3/4 times every hour. I'm not sure but I think the Grayline coaches only do tours.
