For us this was a must see, a part of history that quite frankly the Olympic movement should be ashamed of. If you aren't that into history or sport it probably isn't that interesting.

Its worth having a look at the 1936 winter games ski jump and slalom site. there is a museum of the games and a nice restaurant. Busses transfer you from the town or you can walk.

The day we were there we actually got to see students in training jumping the olympic ski jump!! Took video of them, and could here the lightning fast wind as they 'flew' by! What a treat! Quite a hike up along side the jump but...More

Very neat place to visit. Wonderful history and lots of space to park there. No pines and there is a lot of original Olympic stuctures around. Highly recommended
