Visited late June 2018. The cable car is speedy and takes you up to the viewing platform which is quite unnerving but some impressive engineering. There were plenty of walks around the Alpspitz area and paths were clearly marked. Spectacular views. A lot quieter than...More

Absolutely wonderful experience, would go back to explore further. Lovely cafe/souvenir shop at the top and the cable car ride brilliantly smooth. Beware early closing times and crowded cars on the last couple of rides. I would have liked to have been able to stay...More

Must do, great area to walk around. Easy to get there with the gondola. The cable car up the Alpspitze was 54 Euro for two of us.

My friends and I took the gondola to the top and then most of us hiked to the top of Alpspitz. It is quite an ambitious hike if you are not prepared; however, it's still beautiful even only hiking half of it! There was enough...More
