Shopping walhalla

If you are into shopping, this is the place to be. A long wide street, with shop after shop and all the surrounding streets have shops.

Nicest street for shops. Restaurants, browsing. Nice to sit in the coffee and cake shops. Many nice areas and building on this street as well

The Königstrasse is a long, pedestrian-only street running down the center of Stuttgart and through the Schlossplatz. There are an infinite number of shops, businesses, and restaurants on and around the Königstrasse, making it one of the most popular places for shopping, eating, and hanging out. The following are some attractions that can be readily accessed from the Königstrasse: the... More

Nice park in the city centre, well decorated during the holiday season - the Xmas market in that area is not the best though. I am usually super excited about Xmas Markets for food. As soon as I arrived, I was thrilled to see many stalls and lights. My disappointment was to find that all the stalls sell the same... More

This is one happening street/pedestrian walk. Loads of people all the time, a shopping paradise for the ladies and entertaining street views for the non shopper like myself.

We stop by the Koenigstrasse fairly often. It offers a nice and relaxing break in an otherwise busy day. It is very near some very good restaurants and shopping and there are frequently events and other things going on. Worth a look on your way to lunch or diner.

This is a main shopping street leading out form the Bahnhof. The very nice part is the Schloss park which is adjacent to it after a couple streets. The bad part is the crowds. It has realtively few restaurants (and even fewer Imbiss) that are obvious on the street, but there are many just off it. Basically it is a... More

Koenigstrasse is the typical downtown street for you to just walk around, buy casual stuff and have something to eat/drink.

You haven't seen Stuttgart if you haven't made it down the Konigstrasse. Many, many places to shop, places to eat, always outside entertainment of some sort. We have been many times, and plan to return to find new treasures!
