The main square in Stuttgart - housed part of the Christmas market and ice rink. The childrens fun fair and steam railway in on the edge of the area. The fountains were drained as it was icy but still lite of a night. Very pretty.

Could imagine sitting listening to a good band in the bandstand with some nice wine on a summer evening. However we visited in early December small snow covering made it picturesque.

The greatest square of Stuttgart. You can just sit there and have a great time. A lot of shops nearby.

Yes it is beautiful and full of people enjoying the sunshine. Walk along and watch the people and the beautiful greenery. It is worth a visit by all means.

A good view in a pedestrian shopping area. There a lot of street activities like people playing music, singing, or even dancing.

One of my favorite places in Stuttgart. After the renovation it looks even more lovely. I always enjoy sitting in the grass and spending time with friends here.

Schlossplatz is the centre of everything that happens in Stuttgart central and at New Year Eve it is the place to be. The surrounding buildings add to the atmosphere and the nearby hill give depth to the view. Where to stay... More
