Great History of Mercedes-Benz!

Recommended 2 hrs on the brouchure - spent 4 hours and still didn't see everything or do all of the exhibits. Alot to see here.

Big place. Well organize. Good concept. It start from the top of the building. And explain all the history of Mercedes. There also show the important world historic events in that period together with Mercedes vehicles that produced in the same period. So you can feel like you are in that time.

Spent a couple of hours there but could probably have done with another hour. Great displays taken from the history of the car from first motor driven vehicles through to next generation in a hi tech building full of interesting exhibits. Well worth getting the free headset for the commentary. Getting to the site is a bit more difficult. On... More

This is a great place whether you are a big car fan or not. Lots of cars to see and lots of history. The lifts are amazing too. If in the area well worth a visit good value for money as well. You can also get a good cup of coffee & cake.

I have had the opportunity to go to this museum twice, and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. Excellent displays, wonderful historic artifacts. Really appreciate that they put the development of the auto industry into the overall historical and political perspective as well.

An interesting museum with a great deal in it, and a few surprising omissions. I was surprised that the museum did not highlight Nico Rosberg's win two days previous to our visit. I was surprised that Janis Joplin and her song 'Mercedes Benz' are not mentioned- several popular music artists are. I was surprised that the African term 'wabenzi' is... More

As a massive car fan this was the highlight of our trip to Stuttgart ... seeing the building itself takes your breath away (even on an overcast day !) the cars & the automotive history are an absolute credit to the museum & I could have stayed there all day. Amazing day & we will be back next year.

The historical approach is achieved very well. The Nazi period is presented politically correct. The audio guides work better than in other museums.

This place was a must stop on my list of things to see things in Stuttgart. On all of the websites that I looked at, they all recommended coming here. I was not disappointed! We got the guided tour and our tour guide was great. He was very informative and we left the building knowing something we never knew before.... More

Easy to take the train from Stuttgart with a short walk to the museum. It's easy to purchase tickets online if you want to plan ahead. The presentation is very well done.
