A must visit when in Karlsruhe. Beautiful palace. Inside you can buy a ticket to climb the tower. With 154 steps it is doable and the views are stunning. Entrance only 4 euros per person. The garden behind the palace is for free and beautiful....More

Enforced break in Karlsruhe as my van broke down on the way back to Spain. Ended up here and it was brilliant. A lovely building and in stark contrast a medieval festival was taking place in the grounds. The gardens are beautiful and listening to...More

LAst time when we were here in Karlsruhe, we didn't have the opportunityy to visit the castle. Now we had more time, and we not only walked in the huge garden, but visited the very interesting museum too.

We paid to get in which was pointless because none of the exhibitions are written in English so we just looked. It's mostly a museum of ancient history but the tower was worthwhile. After climbing loads of stairs you get a view of the city...More

It’s a really nice place to come with your family. There’s a big park around to walk though. I’m sure I’ll come back there:)

This was my second time visiting the Karlsruhe Palace. I really enjoyed our visit both times. We were so lucky with the weather which made it more enjoyable and great for photographs. It was really nice to walk around in the beautiful garden.

The palace and surrounds are just pretty and worth the walk. Large manicured lawn, where you can sit and take in the magnificence. The one avenue that runs off from the tower side, connects with the Schloss garden.
