Very nice zoo with lots of animals and birds. Definitely worth a visit with children. Great playgrounds for children of all ages.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Zoo/garden in Karlsruhe! Admission is €10 for adults. The gondola ride around the lake and canals is a MUST. To take the full trip it's €4,50. Which I thought was a fair price for about 15-20 minute ride. There are tons of hungry Carp which will swim right up to the boat! Lots... More

We were able to walk around the entire park with just enough to get some great photos, yet it wasn't so big that we could not see everything. It's a nice, compact, but very beautiful Zoo, and we definitely plan to return to it, during our next trip to Karlsruhe.

It was a visit that I didn't expected because along stay in this city as originally planned. I went with my girlfriend and we fell in love with the different places inside the zoo facilities and it is also very good that it's near the station so, even if you are traveling but have some hours free. This is a... More

My children are big animal lovers, so we like taking them to zoos and aquariums. This zoo is pretty big and nice. We could have easily stayed there all day but it got crowded in the afternoon (it was a sunny Sunday after months of snow and rain and coldness) so we left. We are a family of 5 and... More

The zoo is clean and the animals well taken care of. The park itself is large and amazing for a walk on a sunny day. Totally recommend it for a day trip with family. Take a little something to eat and drink though because there isn't much variety. Children also enjoy the playground and the large chess game towards the... More

Visited this place in August. It's not the biggest zoo but it has it has such a beautiful scenario. There are many kinds of animals and insteresting information about them. You could easily spend the whole day walking and enjoying the different areas in the zoo. The rose garden is a must if you visit the zoo, and the small... More

It is certainly not the biggest and fanciest zoo in the world or even Germany but has a good size for smaller children, nice and partly modern areas for animals and plants from all around the world. Both indoor and outdoor enclosures are becoming more animal- and visitor- friendly every year. During summer there is a small boat cruise on... More
