A wine is an unique drink and here you can taste fabulous wines. Wines here served are belonging to the best of the region. The place to drink your glass gives you a magnificent view on the church. Great and enjoyable!

One of the most beautiful experiences of our entire Germany trip. We went around dusk. Oh my God! What an experience! Sitting in the courtyard, sipping the wine, listening to live music, on our right was one of the oldest Gothic cathedrals - such surreal...More

We noticed this wine bar while walking around the square and decided to try it out after spotting the amount of people outside drinking mulled wine. It was served from a small outdoor stall and the length of the queue looked promising. One 20cl serving...More

We enjoy each Christmas the Christmas market and the Gluehwein from the Alte-Wach as that is the best Gluehwein you can have. Not sweet, flavour and local estate wine.

Great selection of local wines by the glass, as "Viertele" or by the bottle. Some interesting red and white wine iced slushies. It's a bit pricey for a self-service bar, but offers a nice and relaxed atmosphere sitting outside right next to the Münster. There...More

We have tried tasting throughout the Mosel, the Alsace in France and now here and this was the friendliest reception and most informative tasting we received. After tasting several wines, we settled on glasses of wine for the patio then took additional bottles with us....More

Sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed some white wine and pretzels. Situated on the beautiful town square this is a good place to sit and watch the buskers, trade from the market stalls and the passers by. Wine tasting is also an option here....More

I don't like German wine and especially not white wine. However, this place taught me that there is actually exquisite good white wine. On top of that, it's even German one. You have the option to either taste some in the wine shop or then...More
