Picturesque part of Valence, the entrance opens onto a quiet street easy to miss. No obvious invitation to step inside the huge door but be brave and go through - to look up and admire the clever gothic style carvings just inside the courtyard space....More

In general I was a bit disappointed with Valence but this house was one of the highlights of the visit. Great different amount of faces all with different facial features. Worth finding if you are around

You'd be crazy not to walk past this building. Just remember to look up and take your time. There are loads of heads. The more you stare, the more you see. How many faces will you recognise?

A place of history, the medieval house where Napoleon stayed.(commemorative plaque outside, Square Napoleon) Unique decor on outside wall right in the heart of old Valence famous for these sculptures of portraits (les tetes).

Nice place to visit in Valence, I love the architecture and the history of this place. You have to see the visiting program because It;s closed many days as it;s a custom in the south of France!
