The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and spoke English well, which was helpful. My only suggestion would be to put the signs for the office in better places.

Why every city doesn't have some sort of City Card is a mystery to me: it's brilliant. It encourages tourists to explore (which leads to spending money), see museums, and take the Metro (which leads to spending even more money).

this is a big office, well-staffed; the Citycard is good value, and portable wifi is worth having; there are free maps, lots of leaflets

I will be spending a day and aa half in Lyon and would like to know the best way to see the best Lyon has to offer. I am on my own and I am an avid photographer and a great lover of history. Can you tell me if it is easy to see most of the old and historical parts of Lyon or is it very scattered. I understand there is a hop on hop off bus but there is a long waiting time between each bus and stop. I will be in Lyon on the 26/27th of February so will also need to have an idea of what the of weather I can expect?? I understand that February in some parts of Europe is the coldest month. do I need to worry about snow?? All information you could provide me with to see the best of Lyon in the time frame I have would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you for your time and assistance. Kind regards Samantha from Australia
